Due to the rising cost of energy and vehicle maintenance, there will be a travel fee if driving further than 30 miles from the displayed address.
Our travel fee matches the State of California’s 2023 minimum reimbursement policy of $0.65/per mile, including the return trip.
Suppose photo coverages are ongoing throughout the day with multiple clients at the exact location. In that case, the travel fee will be divided among the paid clients of that day since travel will only occur once. When calculating the overall mileage beyond the 30-mile radius, I will deduct 60 miles from the final overall mileage count. This pricing model helps sustain incurred travel costs without increasing photography service prices. I appreciate your patronage and look forward to adding more projects with you.
Example #1: Photo coverage at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, San Diego is 20 miles away. There is no additional Travel fee.
Example #2: Photo coverage at the Anaheim Convention Center is 55 miles away. The round trip total is 110 miles. Deduct 60 miles from the total trip which sums up to 50 miles charged for travel fees. 50 Miles x $0.65 = $32.50 additional travel fee.
Example #3: Photo coverage at the Anaheim Convention Center has five paying clients at the same location on the same day. The travel fee will be spread among the five paying clients which will be $6.50 additional cost per client.
